HTML5

Web standards have been improving, and the pace at which they have been doing so has not dropped. The presentation of information has moved from desktop-based web pages to mobile devices and other presentation surfaces that are smaller and don’t show much information at a time. As a result, the standard and format for the presentation of the information have improved. The web standards have moved ahead to introduce a new markup language for presenting web pages and other kinds of information to internet users. This markup standard is known as HTML5 and is the newest standard for the internet’s information.

The tags introduced in this new standard are more accurate in presenting information to the user. They can always detect where the page is being shown to automatically adjust the web page and make the best use of the display in use. A small screen will require that the elements that make up the web page are adjusted to fit into the screen but still leave the layout comfortable enough for the internet user to see everything they need on the same page. This is truly an improvement that internet users can appreciate.

The standard has also grown to include other kinds of media on the same page. Video and audio tags introduced with HTML5 perform better in presenting this kind of information. The user has more control over the video and audio files they chance across on the web. Metadata has been greatly improved and enables all the tags to be described, and this means that nothing that is on the webpage is understood or recognized by the browser. Games are also much easier to run on the modern web standard as there is a better means of displaying the information and interacting with the characters within the game.

Colors did not change much, but animations have been given a general overhaul as animated UI elements are now more preferred by website designers and web applications that need to display dynamic information to the users. The elements on a web page can also change randomly whenever the user tilts the screen or changes the orientation, which means that content gets to fill the screen differently. Such interaction is even friendlier for the users and the reason a lot of people are getting themselves accustomed to the modern web standard.

In conclusion, HTML5 is the latest web standard that has improved how information gets represented and fed down to the users. The standard sets the bar for web designers and developers alike. They will not be forced to spend more time developing websites to ensure that the internet users have the easiest time obtaining information from the websites and interacting with the content prepared for them by the website designers.  It is truly an upgrade that holds the potential to transform internet usage and interaction for web application users.
