Privacy Policy for Bored Giant Apps

Thank you for using Bored Giant Apps (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with the App, particularly concerning the use of advertising through Google AdMob.

1. Information We Do Not Directly Collect:

As a general rule, we do not require you to create an account to use our App, and we do not directly collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. We also do not use any internal analytics tools to track your usage of the App.

Our App is supported by advertising revenue, and we use Google AdMob (“AdMob”) to display advertisements to you. When you use our App, AdMob may automatically collect certain information about your device and your activity for the purposes of serving ads and for other purposes outlined in Google’s privacy policies.

The information collected by AdMob may include, but is not limited to:

  • Device Identifiers: Such as your device’s advertising ID (e.g., Google Advertising ID on Android, Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS), IP address, and device model.

3. How Google AdMob Uses Your Information:

The information collected by AdMob is used for various purposes, including:

4. Sharing of Information:

We, as the App developer, primarily enable the display of ads through the AdMob platform. We do not typically share any additional personal information with Google beyond what is automatically collected through the AdMob SDK.

If you are located in the EEA, you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding your personal data. Even though we do not directly collect most of this data, Google (as the data controller for AdMob) does. These rights may include:

  • The right to restrict the processing of your personal data.
  • The right to data portability.
  • The right to object to the processing of your personal data.

For users in the EEA, we will obtain your consent before allowing Google AdMob to serve personalized ads, as required by the GDPR. This consent will typically be managed through a Consent Management Platform (CMP) that we integrate into the App. You will have the option to provide or withhold your consent for the use of your data by Google for personalized advertising purposes. You can usually manage or withdraw your consent at any time through the App’s settings or the CMP interface.
